Causes

At mth, we do our best to balance our business interest with our philanthropic ideals. We regularly partner with organizations that help the earth and our community. Here are some of our favourite organizations that we have worked with, and continue to work with.

One Tree Planted is a non-profit organization focused on global reforestation. Their goals are to restore forests, create habitat for biodiversity, and make a positive social impact around the world. Take a look at their 2021 Impact Report, or click to read more about all the ways tree planting benefits earth and our communities.

Since 2020, for every purchase made at mth we donate $1USD, which equals one tree grown, planted, and monitored. Together, we have planted more than 12,000 trees and counting!

Covenant House Toronto is an inclusive, intentional, and impactful agency serving youth who are homeless, trafficked, or at risk. Their wide range of comprehensive youth-driven programming is centred on unconditional love, absolute respect and relentless engagement.

In June 2022, mth participated in a Covenant House: Sleep Out event, where we raised over $10,000. Those funds ensure that Covenant House is able to continue serving our city’s youth with the services they need.

Through evidence-based research, policy analysis, education, and citizen empowerment, the David Suzuki Foundation conserves and protects the natural environment to create a sustainable Canada. Their projects focus on fisheries, forestry, at-risk species, pesticides, and the economics of sustainability. To achieve their goals, they work with Indigenous communities, other non-profit organizations, businesses, and all levels of government.

In 2019, MacPherson Toy House made a $10,000 contribution to their efforts.

The SickKids foundation believes that fighting for the health and wellbeing of children is one of the most powerful ways to improve society. Donations provide funding for much needed building improvements, continuing research, and better care for children across the globe.

At mth, we share their views that children are the future, so in 2019 and 2020 MacPherson Toy House made $10,000 donations.
