About the bean:
Trinitario cacao beans are sourced from the fertile soils of Costa Rica and reach their full-bodied potential through a meticulous post-harvest process. the exceptional flavour profile is attributed to unique genetic varieties as well as the result of sustainable farming practices of selected smallholder farmers from whom we procure fresh, carefully grown cacao.
About the pearl:
In Chinese medicine, pearl powder is said to be detoxifying and is used as an anti-inflammatory and a relaxant. In Ayurvedic medicine, pearl powder is said to be an antidote for poison, as well as an ingredient in love potions. This beautiful powder contains amino acids, calcium, and trace minerals – providing many benefits which support skin health and can also be used as a (non-animal-derived) collagen alternative.
